From Ravenna, led by the world of graphic design, of ludicrous inclination and strong attention towards both colour and  composition of his work. His subjects bear reality even though projected through a fantastical and visionary personal dimension. The colours bring to life surreal chromatic combinations of  striking contrasts. Almost unfinished painting which reaches a dreamlike balance and allows wide interpretation for beholders. Born in 1970, both painter and graphic designer, has begun his pursuit graduating at the Artistic High School of “P, Nervi” in Ravenna, continued his studies at the Fine Arts Academy in Bologna, specialising in scenography. Researching more textured elements has brought him alongside to studying ceramic at the Albe Steiner Institute in Ravenna.  Throughout these years, strives and gets different sorts of work from ceramic sculptures to paintings, in the meantime digs for his own expression while carries forward his specialisation in graphic advertising. Whilst specializing in advertising design, Petrosillo does not abandon painting,  traditional and, in the last few years digital. Petrosillo is the co-founder of the Cultural Association CadeArt, a group based in Ravenna, that seeks to encourage encounters and idea, project exchanges between artists. Has participated in several solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
Petrosillo lives and works in Ravenna.
