A quel gabbiano lì, invece non importava tanto procurarsi il cibo, quanto volare. Più di ogni altra cosa al mondo, a Jonathan Livingston piaceva librarsi nel cielo.

Richard Bach, Il gabbiano Jonathan Livingstone

CadeArt has chooses historical places and tries to exalt their identity through the expositions.
In the last century the lughese Francesco Barilla Pratella signed the “Manifesto Futurista” ,he was the head of the futurist group in Lugo and he was the author of the “Futurist Musicians Manifesto”. We started with analyzing all the central concepts of that movement : action speed, power, technical progress, machines. Then, walking around in Lugo streets we finally recognized our theme in a monument dedicated to the famous aviator of the city: Francesco Baracca. The concept of “flight” is central in the history of Lugo, the map of the city reproduces the profile of an airplane, and so it is reflected in our project. Art is also a trip, and it becomes a flight in CadeArt project. Francesco Petrosillo’s horses have finally freed themselves from any bond and fly with their colored wings. The characters seem to be detached from reality , they actually generate dream worlds but they also suggest a return to the light look of the child and its simple manner of catching what’s prior, necessary and true.
